On June 16 1998 at 4:15PM a truly majestic sight rattled his train through Harrods taking a seat at the Oyster Bar.
Beau Brummel said: "If people turn to look at you in the street, you are not well dressed." When the Regency dandy and arbiter of men's fashion said this in 1798 it was true, but no more. Now, if people turn to look at you, it's because you are well dressed.
His hand sweeping elegantly toward his champagne flute. His graceful fingers moving like smoke. It was spellbinding.
